Getting First Machine Learning Internship

Step 1. Creating an AWESOME resume

First step towards getting any job or internship is creating a compact detailed resume.

Now in step 2, We will be filling out some applications for internship.

Step 3. How to choose Internship

Always Choose an intership based on work and almost never choose an internship in which you have to pay for work. If you think you have enough knowledge, then you should not be paying someone for the work you do.

Here is classification of these category in preference order.

Employer paying you : In this type of internship, you will be getting paid for work you will do. This is the type of internship i would recommend you to try for.

FYI : I got this type of internship and learning curve was great there.
Working for free : In some workplaces, neither employer will pay you nor you have to pay them anything. This is next best thing as i highly believe, when you work for some company you will be generating revenue for them.
Paying the Employer : This is something i will not go for but if you do not get any of the above type offer for internship, then by all means go for this one. This will give you exposure of working environment and get you started if you just started learning.

Step 5. Interview

In interviews, key part is to make an impression on interviewer and get them to trust you that you can get work done. NEVER LIE ON YOUR RESUME. Most of the questions will be based on your resume, so i will recommend not to lie on your resume as it can backfire. Be honest and show you work and you learning nature.

Tips: Prepare some projects and host them or get them on git. Make them show ready.

Step 6. Joining

This by far the most easiest step that will give you sweet taste of your hard work.

Go there in given dress code or if working remotely, get in touch in your manager.
